Clarification: we in the Oligarchy didn't actually GO any place from which we could return, but thanks to our humans who can't seem to stay home, we haven't posted to our blog in over a month, haven't been able to read what's going on with anyone else; haven't properly thanked any of our Secret Paws (yet) for the very thoughtful gifts we received (and which, we might add, sustained us through the very long month of August) and were a day late sending out our gifts (which we started collecting in July) to our own Secret Paws.
Last we wrote, both our humans were facing some challenges at that stuff they do everyday to buy us catfood and keep us from having to use the cheapest litter in our necessary boxes. Then both of the Human Grandparents "up North" had some additional serious health issues. So as soon as the Summer School was over for one, both of our humans drove up to be with them for a bit. Fortunately, the HumanGyrrl moved home to stay with us. And, fortunately, both of the grandparents are now back in the Care Center where they live. And our humans are both back home where we want them to stay for awhile.
The Human thought she would be able to post a short message from her Sibling's house to let everyone know what was going on, but that never worked out. Thanks for asking what happened with us. We have really missed everyone and are looking forward to reading what everyone has been up to!
Since we couldn't post, we have been keeping notes ... we'll let Sky go first as he has the most compelling story ....
